GROUP BENEFITS DEPARTMENT

Babb, Inc. is an administrative brokerage and consulting firm partnering with employers of all sizes in the sponsorship of their employee benefits program. We are looking for a conscientious Group Benefits Department Coordinator to assist us in multiple facets of group administration to include maintenance of our clients’ employee benefits, eligibility maintenance, claims processing, client database maintenance and COBRA processing while using the lasted technology. Responsibilities:
· Provide guidance for the administration of employer provided benefit plans
· Coordinate benefit enrollment and billing for multiple clients
· Perform accounting functions
· Provide support to internal Billing, Account Management, COBRA and Claims staff
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements:
· Minimum of three years work experience in the health and group benefits profession and / or related field, HR background a plus.
· Accounting, Section 125 (FSA) and COBRA work experience / knowledge preferred.
· Solid analytical, planning and communication skills.
· High initiative, personal drive and motivation to excel.
· Strong customer service skills to quickly assess and resolve clients’ problems.
· Organized with proven time management and administrative skills.
· Strong PC skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office a must. Knowledge of Travis, Benefit Point, LuminX, ABF and MBI software preferred.
· Attention to detail required.
